Biography

About: Hamby rewrote the RSU record books during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. He set new records for hits (67), RBI (62) and total bases (120) as a junior while also batting over .400 for the second consecutive year. Hamby led the Hillcats in hit (58), RBI (56) and batting average (.406) in 2008. The Tahlequah, Okla., native has belted a record-24 home runs and posted a .741 slugging percentage during his first two seasons on the Hill. Hamby missed much of the 2007 season at Connors State with a broken hand. As a freshman at Northeastern State, he earned second team All-Lone State Conference honors.
