WICHITA, Kan. - The Rogers State men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Friends University on the road Friday evening.
Brent Hobson earned the game-winning goal for the Falcons in the 29th minute of play. The Hillcats fired three shots on goal in the opening half but were unable to score.
The Falcons clung to their 1-0 edge for the remainder of the contest. RSU put three more shots on goal in the second half however; Friends goalkeeper Andrew Millington kept the Cats scoreless.
RSU goalkeeper Nathan Inger was tagged with the loss, making six saves.
Rogers State (4-2) will travel to Texas on Sunday as they face Austin College at 2 p.m.
