CLAREMORE, Okla.- The Rogers State men's soccer team returned to its winning ways on Sunday afternoon with a 3-2 victory over Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) at Soldier Field.
Despite taking an early 1-0 lead with a goal from Tiashe Chigede, the Tigers were unable to hold off the Hillcats' offense.
Dylan Beaird registered his first goal of the season to knot the score in the 14
th minute of the game.
Necas Collins slotted the ball across the goal and Beaird buried it first-time to even the score.
Caleb Pitts gave the Hillcats the lead in the 65
th minute, heading a corner kick from
Danko Kenjic into the goal. It was the Tulsa, Okla. native's second goal of the season. Freshman
Jordan Permaul gave the Hillcats some insurance in the 80
th minute as he scored his team-leading third goal of the season off a cross from
Necas Collins, beating the keeper back post.
The Tigers cut the RSU lead in the 89
th minute with a goal from Logan Hampton but it wasn't enough as the Hillcat came away with their third win of the season.

Cody Gammill earned his third win of the year in goal, making two saves while David Henley recorded three saves and the loss for OBU.
