Slow Start Dooms Hillcats in 81-63 Loss to No. 20 MSU

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State men's team got off to a slow start and couldn't recover, falling 81-63 to No. 20-ranked Midwestern State on Saturday (Nov. 12) at the Claremore Expo Center in the finale of the four-game conference challenge. The loss snaps a seven-game home winning streak for RSU.

The nationally-ranked Mustangs started with a 20-7 run in the first eight minutes, capped by a jumper by MSU's Nick Powell at the 11:57 mark of the first half. With the margin at 34-22 with 2:51 left, the Mustangs ended the half with a 7-1 spurt to take a 41-23 advantage at halftime.
