CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State men's basketball team ran its winning streak to five with a dominating 95-59 victory over Randall on Saturday (Nov. 25) at the Claremore Expo Center.
 
The Hillcats made the fifth-most field goals in RSU team history with 41 baskets as the navy and red shot 57.7 percent (41-71) from the field and 47.6 percent (10-21) from 3-point distance. With the 41 field goals, RSU registered 25 assists to rank fourth all-time in the team record books.
 
In the first half, the Cats built a 20-point advantage with 6:39 left before halftime after a 
Tavian Davis fastbreak layup for a 36-16 score. The margin grew to 30, the largest first-half lead, at 49-19 with 1:18 remaining before half when 
Baron Smith Jr. scored on a layup, and RSU held a 51-22 edge at halftime. In the second half, RSU gained its largest advantage at 92-49, a 43-point margin, with 2:31 left on a basket from Ahnte Harkey. From there, RSU cruised to the 95-59 win.
 
Gabriel Ferreira scored a game-high and career-high 17 points. Saint Hilaire added 14 points, and Brian Harness went for a career-high 12 points off the bench. All 12 Hillcats posted points in the easy victory as RSU tallied 49 bench points. 
Don Leak pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds in only 13 minutes.  
 
After a season-opening loss, the Hillcats have won five straight games by an average margin of victory of 25 points. RSU moved to 2-0 at home in the early part of the season with the two wins by an average of 45.5 points.
