FINAL RESULTS
POTTSBORO, Texas – Rogers State women's golf finished fifth in the Lion Invitational at Tanglewood Resort dropping one spot down the team leaderboard with a round of 345 on Tuesday.
The Hillcats shot eight strokes worst then its opening round 337 finishing with a team total of 682 on the par 72 course. Cameron moved into fourth place after shooting 338 in the second round as the Aggies finished two strokes ahead of RSU. The Hillcats finished nine strokes better than sixth place Angelo State and held the fourth best finish by NCAA Division II institutions.

Mica Eastin tied for 16
th as the Carrollton, Texas native shot 84-84 – 168, four strokes out of fifth place. Freshman
Sydney Murray shot one-stroke better in day two carding an 85 for a tournament total of 171, tied for 26
th as the lone Hillcat to improve upon their day one score.
Kina Boone shot an 88 in the final round to finish tied at 29
th with a 172 two-round total.
Mariana Flores posted a final round score of 88 to tie for 34
th with a 173 total and
Stirling Phillips posted 84-90—174 to tie for 36
th in the 83 person field.
St. Mary's shot four strokes better than Newman University as the Rattlers claimed the team title shooting 649. Newman's Imkeleen Meyer earned medalist honors with an 11-over par 155 shooting a seven-over par 79 on Tuesday. Meyer finished four strokes ahead of second place.
Rogers State will return to action on March 13-14 at the MSU Women's Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas.
