MONKEY ISLAND, Okla.- Rogers State women's golf completed the first of three rounds of the 2026 Spring Regional Preview on Sunday afternoon, finishing the day tied for fourth at the par-72 Shangri-La GC.
The Hillcats finished the day with a total score of 304 (+16), tying with Central Oklahoma and Central Missouri. Arkansas Tech leads the team standings with a score of 295 (+7), followed by Northwest Missouri State (+9) and Washburn (+12).
Lauren Anderson led the team with a score of 73 (+1), finishing the day tied for seventh. The junior excelled on the back nine, recording par or better on each hole. Additionally, she recorded birdies on the ninth and 16th holes.
Freshman
Lou Fourdan had a strong opening round, finishing with a score of 75 (+2) to tie for 14th. Senior
Brianna Maddux and sophomore
Milena Andres both shot 78 (+6), tying for 31st, while freshman
Clara Ledun finished one stroke behind with a score of 79 (+7), placing her in a tie for 44th.
RSU also had four individuals represent the Red and Navy.
Freshman
Lara Foigel and junior
Rylan Ashley both shot 77 (+5), finishing the day tied for 23rd. Sophomore
Brooklyn Worley recorded an 81 (+9), tying for 58th, while sophomore
Elle Standlee Daniels shot an 88 (+16), finishing tied for 85th.
Round two of the 2026 Spring Regional Preview is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. tee time.
