FRISCO, Texas - Hillcat Women's Golf received the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award for the second straight season, announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
Rogers State achieved an impressive milestone with an MIAA-leading 3.722 GPA and finished ranked 17th in NCAA Division II. This marks the sixth time in the past seven years that RSU has received this distinction.
Catawba led the nation with a 3.843 GPA, followed closely by Lynn at 3.841 and Texas A&M-Kingsville at 3.840. Central Missouri, with a GPA of 3.687, was the only other MIAA school to make the list, ranking 22nd.
ABOUT THE WOMEN'S GOLF COACHES ASSOCIATION
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 750 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
