FINAL RESULTS

HORSESHOE BAY, Texas – Rogers State junior Mica Eastin shot one-over par 73 in the final round of the Heartland Conference Women's Golf Championship at Slick Rock Golf Course to lead the Hillcats to a fourth place team finish with a 910 three-day team total. Two Hillcats joined Eastin in the top 10 as RSU finished just a stroke out of third place.
 
Eastin finished third with her 217 three-round total after firing even par in the opening two rounds of play. The Carrollton, Texas native earned All-Tournament team honors with her third place finish while also being named All-Conference following Tuesday's play. Eastin finished two strokes out of second place Sarah Kim of Dallas Baptist. DBU's Addison Mitchell claimed the Individual Medalist honors with a 214 after firing a four-under par 68 Tuesday.
 
Kina Boone shot 75 in the final round for a 227 tournament total to finish ninth while freshman Sydney Murray tallied a six-over par 78 Tuesday for a 228 total to tie for tenth.
 
Marian Flores placed tied for 28^th with a 238 total after firing a 77 for the second straight round. Stirling Phillips shot an 89 in the third round for a 258 total for 42^nd place.
 
DBU claimed the conference title with an 888 team score as the Patriots fired a 293 Tuesday and finished ten strokes ahead of second place St. Mary's. The Rattlers finished with an 11 stroke lead on third place St. Edward's.
 
Rogers State will await the at-large berth announcement for teams and individuals early next week for the West Super Regional to be held May 8-10 at Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas.
