CLAREMORE, Okla. – More honors rolled in Wednesday for Rogers State baseball's Chris Miguel and Rusty Huber as the Hillcat duo was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-South Central Region First Team as voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
 
Miguel, the Heartland Conference Player of the Year, was named first team all-region as an infielder. He adds to his honor list after being named NCBWA All-America Honorable Mention Second Baseman earlier in the day.
 
The Daly City, Calif. native totaled 72 hits, 18 doubles, nine home runs, and 51 RBI in his senior season on College Hill. In 49 starts, the Hillcat second baseman finished with a conference best .400 batting average while completing the season with a .650 slugging percentage and .476 on-base percentage.  In the final week of the season, Miguel went 12-for-14 with five RBI and one home run.
 
Miguel was named First Team All-South Central Region selection by the NCBWA and D2CCA. In addition to being the conference player of the year, Miguel was named First Team All-Heartland Conference.
 
This marks the second consecutive season that Huber was named ABCA/Rawlings All-South Central Region First Team relief pitcher. A First Team All-Heartland Conference selection in back-to-back years, Huber posted the second best earned run average in Division II with a 1.00 ERA. The San Diego, Calif. native totaled 11 saves, ranking 12^th in Division II, and held opponents to a .188 batting average against him. Huber finished with a 2-2 record in 36 innings pitched, striking out 51, and allowing four earned runs in 25 appearances.
 
In two seasons on College Hill, Huber has earned Third Team NCBWA All-America honors. He has twice been named to the NCBWA All-South Central Region First Team and is a two-time selection to the D2CAA All-Region First Team.  
 
Huber is the first two-time ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selection in RSU program history after earning the honor last season. Miguel becomes the fourth Hillcat named ABCA/Rawlings All-Region joining Huber, Andrew Vanisi (2015) and Caleb Kohlmeyer (2016) and the third to earn First Team honors.
