CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State Athletics Graduating Student-Athletes and Staff received honors at the Rogers State University Honor Graduates Award Ceremony for Rogers State University.
The event was held prior to graduation with nine members of Rogers State Athletics receiving awards.
Rogers State Athletics Associate Athletic Director for External Operations and Senior Woman Administrator
Sara Braun received a Faculty Excellence Award. An adjunct professor in the Sports Management department, Braun received the School of Professional Studies Adjunct Teaching Award.
Four graduating student-athletes received Outstanding Graduate honors, while three graduating student-athletes received Distinguished Graduate honors.
Women's Soccer's
BreAnn Tolleson was named the Biology: Medical/Molecular Department's outstanding graduate.
In the Social and Behavioral Science Department,
Tayler Stover, of Women's Soccer, was named an outstanding graduate honoree.
Lauren Schuldt, of Women's Basketball, was named the Business Administration (Management) Department's outstanding graduate.
In the Sports Management (Fitness Management) Department, Women's Soccer's
Marlaina Trahant was named the outstanding graduate, while Baseball's
Preston Whitten was named the distinguished graduate honoree.
Madison Murray, of Women's Soccer, was named the Sport Management (Sports Business) Department's distinguished graduate.
Cross Country alumni Hailey Gillispie was also honored as a distinguished graduate for the Master of Business Administration Department.

Jordan Downing also received honors, being recognized with the outstanding capstone honor for the Department of Psychology and Sociology.
The Rogers State University Athletics Department, which sponsors 12 intercollegiate sports, competing in 14 championships in the NCAA Division II and the Heartland Conference, provides quality athletic opportunities for its student-athletes, to take responsibility for their academic success and personal growth, and to engage and enhance our campus and community through competition, service, and positive representation.
