Rogers State Athletic Director Chris Ratcliff To Serve As D2 ADA President

ORLANDO, FL.  – The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) has selected Chris Ratcliff, director of athletics at Rogers State University, to serve as President for the 2019-20 membership year.

"I look forward to the 2019-20 academic year," stated Ratcliff. "The new year will bring new opportunities to strengthen our organization through growth and professional development."

Ratcliff takes over for Past President, Jim Johnson, the athletics director at Pittsburg State University in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association, where Rogers State will move to as an associate member in 2019-20. Ratcliff served as 1st vice president under Johnson in the 2018-19 academic year.

JR Smith, athletics director at Chadron State University will serve as 1st vice president. Dr. Bren Stevens, director of athletics at the University of Charleston (W.Va.) was selected to the role of 2nd vice president. Kim Pate, director of intercollegiate athletics at Lenoir Rhyne University, joins the D2 ADA Officers as the new 3rd vice president for the 2019-20 membership year.

"In this current landscape of unknowns, the D2 ADA is primed to help lead the change with a steady presence and solid leadership," said Ratcliff. "I look forward to working with our officers as together we will lead and play a vital role within the D2 governance."
