EDMOND, Okla. - The No. 11 Rogers State Softball team fell in both game of their double header against Central Oklahoma on Saturday at the Broncho Softball Stadium.

How it Happened (Game One): The Bronchos put the first run on the board to put the Hillcats down 1-0 capitalizing on a leadoff triple and a sacrifice fly.

The Bronchos added to their lead in the third inning with a home run to make the score 2-0.

The Hillcats then gave up two unearned runs due to an error to give the Bronchos a 4-0 lead after four innings.

In the sixth inning, the Hillcats scored their only run of the game with

Sabrina Anguiano.

The Hillcats were unable to add any more runs and fell 5-1 with Central Oklahoma adding another run in the bottom of sixth with another home run.

How it Happened (Game Two): The Bronchos struck first in the second game as well. A passed ball from the Hillcats put a runner in scoring position for the Bronchos and then a sacrifice hit from the batter put an unearned run across the plate.

The Bronchos then added two more runs in both the fourth and fifth inning to make the final score 5-0, as the Hillcats were unable to put any runs on the board, recording just five runs in the game.

Key Players: Anguiano had three hits between the two games, which included a double in the first game. Anguiano scored the lone run for the Hillcats.

Day hit a double in the first game to record the only RBI of the day for the Hillcats.

Notes: Rogers State stranded 14 base runners on the day. Central Oklahoma stranded 13 base runners. Both teams stranded eight in game two.

The Hillcats were swept for the second time this week, having lost four of the last six games.
