PITTSBURG, Kan. - The Rogers State men's track and field team picked up a school record and three top-three finishes Saturday afternoon at the Wendy's/PSU MIAA Challenge at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State University.

Carlos Vallejo staked claim to his first school record on Saturday as he took third overall in the 600-Yard Run. Vallejo broke the previous record by two seconds as he finished with 1 1:16.53 in the race.
Tyler Melton recorded the best finish of the afternoon for the Hillcats as he took second overall in the 5,000-Meter Run. Melton crossed the line with a 15:42.88 to edge out teammate
Kory Wilson, who took third overall in the event with a 15:43.21.
