BETHANY, Okla. – No. 22 Rogers State men's soccer (10-4-2, 6-3-1 GAC/MIAA) came up short against Southern Nazarene (10-6-0, 7-3-0 GAC/MIAA) in a 1-0 decision on Thursday.
The Crimson Storm struck early with the game's only goal in the 4th minute. The Hillcats had opportunities to strike for the equalizer, but SNU's keeper saved all three shots.
The second devolved into a defensive stalemate as the Crimson Storm only out shot RSU 7-5. Neither team was able to get a shot on goal in the period as SNU hung on for the 1-0 victory.
The Hillcats will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 29 as they travel to Tahlequah, Okla. to face off against Northeastern State. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
