CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State women's golf's upcoming tournament has been canceled due to playing conditions lingering from the recent winter storm to impact the region.
 
The Hillcats were originally scheduled to play in the NSU Women's Spring Classic at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Monday and Tuesday with a practice round Sunday, but the tournament was pushed back a day by organizers to try and allow for the course to thaw out.
 
However, conditions have not improved enough for a Tuesday and Wednesday tournament, forcing a cancellation of the event.
 
Rogers State will now set its sights on the 2021 Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational hosted by Southern Nazarene at Kickingbird Golf Club in Edmond Oklahoma. The Hillcats will open up their team title defense on Monday, March 8.
