WICHITA FALLS, Texas – No. 9 Rogers State men's soccer (3-1) fell to No. 24 Midwestern State (4-0) in a 4-0 decision on the road on Saturday.
 
The Mustangs wasted no time getting things started as they connected on the first goal of the night in the ninth minute to go up 1-0. They added another goal in the 39th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the intermission.
 
MSU continued to hold the offensive advantage in the second half, adding two more goals in the remaining 45 minutes. Both goals came within three minutes of each other with the first coming in the 64th minute and the final coming in the 67th minute for the 4-0 decision.
 
The RSU offense wasn't completely stifled as they were able to get off 12 shots with three on goal.
 
The Hillcats will be back in action on Thursday, Sept. 16 as they stay on the road with a trip to Oklahoma City, Okla. for a match against Oklahoma Christian. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
