NEW ORLEANS – Rogers State women's cross country held steady at No. 27 in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Rankings, the organization announced on Wednesday.
 
The Hillcats remain the only school from Oklahoma ranked inside the Top 30 nationally. RSU is the third highest ranked MIAA school featured in the poll behind Pittsburg State (No. 17) and Nebraska-Kearney (No. 22) and ahead of Northwest Missouri who received votes. They are also one of seven Central Region teams in the rankings, behind Augustana (No. 5), Minnesota Duluth (No. 14), Winona State (No. 15) and Minnesota State (No. 18).
 
RSU will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 15 as they travel to Edmond, Okla. to compete in the UCO Invitational. The women's 6k is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
