NEW ORLEANS – Rogers State women's cross country checked in at No. 27 in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Rankings, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Dropping two spots from No. 25 in last week's rankings, the Hillcats remain the only school from Oklahoma ranked inside the Top 30 nationally. RSU is the third highest ranked MIAA school featured in the poll behind Pittsburg State (No. 17) and Nebraska-Kearney (No. 22) and ahead of Northwest Missouri who received votes. They are also one of six Central Region teams in the rankings, behind Augustana (No. 5), Minnesota Duluth (No. 13) and Winona State (No. 16).

RSU will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 as they travel to Kenosha, Wis. to compete in the Lucian Rosa Invitational at the Wayne E Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
