KENOSHA, Wis. – No. 27 Rogers State women's cross country competed at the Lucian Rosa Invitational on Saturday.
In the 6k race, the Hillcats finished fourth with 149 total team points. They finished just behind No. 7 Cedarville, No. 19 Wayne State and ahead of No. 23 Southwest Baptist.
Katie Byrd led RSU in 15th place with a new personal best time of 22:09.69 which is good for the second best mark in program history. Brianna DeAngelis finished 28th with a new personal best time of 22:49.74 which is good for sixth best in school history. Gloria Butts finished 31st with a new personal best time of 22:53.10 which is good for seventh best in program history. Jillian Skalicky finished 39th with a time of 23:14.25. Madison Bradshaw finished 46th with a time of 23:25.53. Riley Coleman rounded out the squad in 51st with a time of 23:35.01.
The Hillcats will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 15 as they close out the regular season and split the squad between the DBU Old Glory Gallup in Grand Prairie, Texas and the UCO Invitational in Edmond, Okla.
