QUINCY, Ill. – Rogers State women's basketball (0-4) fell 66-57 to McKendree (1-3) in the final game of the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home Classic on Sunday.

Three Hillcats finished in double figures on the day.
Jordan Lewis led the Hillcats with 15 points to go along with two rebounds and a steal. She was also named to the All-Tournament team for her performance in both games this weekend.
Bailey Kliewer added 14 points with five rebounds and an assist.
Kamryn Estell finished one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds as well as two steals and an assist.
Trinity Jackson pulled down 10 rebounds with three points.

The first quarter set the tone for what would be an incredibly close game for most of the 40 minutes. RSU grabbed the lead early as they opened the game on a 5-1 run. The Bearcats responded by cutting the deficit to one point on multiple occasions. McKendree took their first lead at 11-10, but RSU rallied to tie things at 12-12 headed into the second quarter.

Things stayed tight in the final 10 minutes of the half with both teams trading shots with four lead changes and four ties. After the Hillcats briefly reclaimed the lead 14-12 at the start of the period, the Bearcats went back up 17-14 and held the lead until RSU took it back at 19-18 with just over six minutes left. McKendree quickly pushed back ahead at 22-19 and held the advantage until
Trinity Jackson scored a layup with 37 seconds left to put RSU in front 30-28 going into the break.

The Hillcats came out of the locker room on fire as they dashed out to their largest lead of the game at 39-31 thanks to a 9-3 run to begin the second half. The Bearcats fought to trim the deficit, but RSU managed to hold on to a slim 43-41 lead headed into the final 10 minutes.

At the start of the fourth quarter, RSU began to rebuild their lead out to 45-41 but McKendree halted any Hillcat momentum with a 14-2 run to go up 56-47 with just under four minutes left in the game. They built out their lead to its largest at 66-55 and eventually claimed the 66-57 win.

The Hillcats will be back in action on Tuesday, Nov. 22 as they return home for the first time this season and face off against Randall inside the Claremore Expo Center. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
