CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State men's basketball (3-2) took a 93-82 win over Southwestern Christian (3-3) on Tuesday.

Four Hillcats finished in double figures on the night.
Kofi Hamilton led RSU with his first double-double of the season putting up 20 points and 11 rebounds with one assist.
Chris Whitaker finished with 17 points, five steals, three assists and a rebound.
Ugo Obineke added 16 points with four rebounds.
Sherwyn Devonish-Prince Jr. contributed 14 points and a game-high seven assists as well as three rebounds.
Joey Saracco finished with eight points and a team-high six boards to go with two steals.

RSU started slow as the Eagles opened the game on a 10-6 run for their largest lead of the game. The Hillcats found their footing as they went on a 12-6 run to take the lead to stay at 18-13. They fought and pushed the margin out to its largest of the half at 33-21 with just over eight minutes left. SCU battled and managed to trim the deficit down to 40-38 with 2:39 remaining. RSU responded with a 9-4 run to close out the half and take a 49-42 advantage into the break.

In the second half, the Hillcats extended their lead out to its largest at 64-49 thanks to a 15-5 run to start the final 20 minutes. The Eagles refused to go down though as they slowly cut into the lead until it was down to just three points at 74-71 with six and a half minutes remaining. However, RSU bounced back and were able to go back up by 11 points and claim the 93-82 win.

The Hillcats will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 26 as they wrap up the non-conference portion of the campaign with a matchup against East Central. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
