TULSA, Okla. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field wrapped up competition on the second day of the ORU Invitational on Saturday.
In the women's 400 meter, Jocelyn Turney finished sixth with a new personal best time of 59.97. Hannah Anello finished ninth with a time of 1:01.58.
In the women's 1,500 meter, Madison Bradshaw finished ninth with a new school record time of 4:42.46, surpassing the previous best time of 4:43.82 set by Hailey Gillispie in 2018. Brianna DeAngelis finished 11th with a new personal best time of 4:44.94. Tori Wood finished in 12th with a time of 4:45.82. Ashley Riggenbach finished 14th with a time of 5:03.34.
On the men's side in the 400 meter, Carlos Vallejo finished eighth with a new personal best time of 49.95. Austin Green finished 13th with a time of 52.69.
In the men's 1,500 meter, Jackson Stinnett finished ninth with a new personal best time of 3:59.54. Hunter Hart finished 10th with a new personal best time of 4:00.91. Preston Turner finished 13th with a new personal best time of 4:05.12. Jon Biersdorfer finished 14th with a personal best time of 4:05.58. Garrison Blanton finished 16th with a new personal best time of 4:10.46. Tyler Melton finished 17th with a season best time of 4:20.86.
In the men's 5,000 meter, Kory Wilson won the event with a time of 15:31.15. Caden Goss finished fourth with a time of 15:40.09. Julius Oheim finished fifth with a time of 15:40.52. Kyle Ginn finished eighth with a time of 15:59.52.
The Hillcats will be back in action on Saturday, April 2 as they travel to Yukon, Okla. to compete in the SCU Paul Parent Invitational, hosted by Southwestern Christian University at Miller Stadium.
