SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field wrapped up competition at the JBU SAC Invitational on Saturday.
The women's team finished in second as team with 84 points. In total, the Hillcats finished with six top three finishes, including three event wins.
In the women's 4x800 meter relay, the team of Jocelyn Turney, Riley Coleman, Tori Wood and Ashley Riggenbach won the event with a time of 10:12.32.
In the women's 1,500 meter, Gloria Butts won the event with a season best time of 5:07.11. Ashley Riggenbach finish in third with a time of 5:14.37. Sara Crosley finished in fifth with a season best time 5:17.46. Madison Lemons finished sixth with a time of 5:17.90.
In the women's 400 meter, Hannah Anello finished second with a time of 1:02.24.
In the women's 800 meter, Aubrey Campos won the event with a new personal best time of 2:30.98. Brya Nyberg finished second with a time of 2:31.30. Callie Sellers finished fourth with a new personal best time of 2:38.39. Rylee Roberts finished 12th with a time of 2:53.89.
In the women's 5,000 meter, Elena Fries finished second with a time of 19:56.51. Elizabeth Ostermaier finished fifth with a time of 21:22.54.
In the women's 4x400 meter relay, the team of Anello, Lemons, Nyberg and Turney finished in second with a time of 4:15.53.
On the men's side in the 10,000 meter, Caden Goss won the event with a time of 32:55.78.
In the men's 4x800 meter relay, the team of Garrison Blanton, Preston Turner, Hunter Hart and Collin McHugh won the event with a time of 8:28.46.
In the men's 1,500 meter, McHugh finished eighth with a time of 4:29.61.
In the men's 400 meter, Austin Green finished second with a time of 53.39.
In the men's 5,000 meter, Blanton finished in second with a time of 16:05.76. Morne Sharnick finished third with a time of 16:35.71. Tyler Melton finished sixth with a time of 16:55.67. Blake Phillippi finished 10th with a time of 17:42.78.
The Hillcats will close out the regular season on Thursday, April 28 as they travel to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the 2022 Drake Relays.
