George Robinson and
Declan Viljoen earned GAC/MIAA Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Robinson, a native of Maidstone, England, earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring a hat trick in the 7-0 rout of Fort Hays State on Saturday, finding the back of the net three times. In the win over the Tigers, the senior scored what would become the game winner in the 24th minute with an assist from
Marcos Vasallo. Robinson again netted the third and fifth goals of the match at the 35th and 52nd minute, respectively, with assists from Vasallo and
Alex Laing.

Viljoen earned his fifth Goalkeeper of the Week honor after leading RSU to a 1-1 record last week in goal. The Auckland, New Zealand product made nine saves on 19 shots faced in the 2-1 loss to No. 17 Southern Nazarene on the road last Thursday. He then turned around and made five saves on 11 shots faced in the 7-0 win over Fort Hays State. The junior currently ranks second in the league in goals against average (.969) and save percentage (.813).

The Hillcats return home on Thursday, Oct. 19 as they welcome archrival Northeastern State into the friendly confines of Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
