KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Rogers State women's soccer student-athletes have earned All-MIAA honors, the Association announced on Wednesday.

Alix Tirado,
Morgan Martucci and
Amaris Jasso all were named All- MIAA Honorable Mention. To earn this honor, student-athletes must receive at least two votes from the league's coaches on the All-MIAA ballot.

In her first season with the Hillcats,
Alix Tirado led the team with 14 points (six goals, two assists) and 19 shots on goal. The junior finished the season with three game winning goals in the wins against Sioux Falls, East Central and Newman. The Fillmore, Calif. native sits among the MIAA's top performers as she finished the season ranking seventh in game winning goals and ninth in goals scored.

Morgan Martucci anchored a Hillcat defense that finished the season with five shutouts and ranked among the top in the MIAA, only allowing 22 goals for an average of 1.22 goals per game. The senior was named MIAA Defender of the Week after a road trip that included a 1-1 draw at UT Tyler and a 4-0 rout at East Central. Offensively, the Friso, Texas product led RSU with three assists during the season.

Amaris Jasso finished second on the team with eight points (three goals, two assists) in the season. Seeing action in all 18 games, the Junior scored the game winning goal in a 4-0 rivalry win at Northeastern State, the first in a two-match season sweep of the RiverHawks. Both of her assists came in league games on the first goals against both Missouri Southern on the road and NSU in the season finale at home.
