CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State women's soccer's seventh head coach Alex Latorre has announced the schedule for his inaugural season on the Hill.
 
Latorre was tabbed the leader of the program in March 2026 following a successful stint at Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
 
The Hillcats will compete in a 17-match regular season schedule, comprising five non-conference and 12 MIAA contests. Seven matches are slated to take place at Soldier Field.

RSU will kick off the season with a three-match road stand, starting with a test against UT Tyler on Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. in Tyler, Texas. The team will then head to Alva on Aug. 30 to take on Northwest Oklahoma State and return the following Friday to face Harding in Searcy, Arkansas.
 
The 2026 home opener is slated for Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. against Ouachita Baptist. They will wrap up non-conference play on Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. in Ada against East Central.
 
MIAA play will commence on Sept. 18 against Fort Hays State at Soldier Field at 7 p.m. Nebraska-Kearney will be the next home game on the schedule the following Sunday at noon. Additional games in Claremore include Washburn on Oct. 9, designated as "International Student-Athlete Night"; Newman on Oct. 11; Central Missouri on Oct. 16; and Senior Day against Missouri Southern on Oct. 18.
 
The Hillcats will hit the road in conference play against Central Oklahoma (9/25), Northeastern State (10/2), Pittsburg State (10/4), Missouri Western (10/23), Northwest Missouri State (10/25) and Emporia State (10/28).

The top four teams in the final regular season standings will host the opening round of the MIAA Tournament on Nov. 1. The semifinal (11/6) and championship (11/8) matches will be played in Wichita, Kansas; times and location to be announced.
 
The NCAA Tournament is set to begin with the first and second rounds taking place from Nov. 12-15, hosted by the top four seeds. The third round and quarterfinals are scheduled for Nov. 19-22, with the highest seed serving as the host. The semifinals and championship game will be held from Dec. 3-5 in Kansas City, Missouri.
