KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rogers State men's soccer checked in at No. 25 in the final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll of the regular season, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
The Hillcats are the second highest ranked GAC/MIAA team behind No. 17 Southern Nazarene and ahead of Fort Hays State, who is receiving votes.
 
Last week, the Hillcats closed out the regular season going 2-0 at home with wins over Newman and Fort Hays State. On Senior Night Thursday, RSU earned their sixth shutout of the season with a 3-0 win over the Jets. On Saturday, they closed out the regular season with a 3-2 win over the Tigers that saw reigning GAC/MIAA Offensive Player of the Week George Robinson notch his second hat trick of the season and second against FHSU as he scored all three goals in the win.
 
Having earned the No. 2 seed in the GAC/MIAA Tournament, the Hillcats will again face off against No. 3-seed Fort Hays State in the tournament quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. in Bethany, Okla.
