CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field opened the 2023-24 indoor track and field season at the Washburn Alumni Invitational on Saturday.

The highlight of the day came in the women's mile, as RSU won the event taking five of the top six spots.
Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett won the event with a time of 5:14.05.
Gloria Butts finished second with a new personal best time of 5:14.66.
Ashley Riggenbach finished third with a time of 5:14.76.
Rayna Kucharyski finished in fourth with a time of 5:14.78.
Elena Fries finished in sixth with a time of 5:39.94.
Ryann Barber finished in 12th with a time of 5:55.90.

In the women's 1,000 meter, the Hillcats took three of the top five spots with
Katie Byrd winning the event with a time of 3:01.86.
Jillian Skalicky finished in second with a time of 3:01.99.
Aubree Wille finished in fifth with a time of 3:16.93.
Sara Crosley finished in sixth with a time of 3:17.59.
Faith Tinney finished in seventh with a time of 3:24.20.

In the men's 800 meter,
Clint Stapleton won the event with a time of 2:03.10.
Ian Busking finished in third with a time of 2:09.71.

Cade McCall finished third with a time of 4:31.11.
Nathan Hernandez finished fifth with a time of 4:34.64.

Carlos Vallejo finished in seventh with a time of 4:39.08.
Blaine Phillippi finished in ninth with a new personal best time of 4:41.43.
