DeAngelis-Stinnett Breaks 5,000 Meter Indoor School Record At Crimson and Gold Invitational

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field wrapped up the 2023 portion of the indoor track and field schedule at the Crimson and Gold Invitational on Saturday.
 
The highlight of the day came in the women's 5,000 meter, when Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett finished in 12th place with a new school record time of 17:38.06, surpassing Madison Bradshaw's time of 17:41:09 last season. Gloria Butts finished close behind in 13th with a new personal best time of 17:40.04. Rayna Kucharyski finished in 17th with a time of 17:54.12. Ashley Riggenbach finished in 19th with a new personal best time of 17:58.18. Cadence Cordova finished in 31st with a time of 18:51.77.
 
In the men's 5,000 meter, Cade McCall finished in 41st with a time of 15:38.64. Kyle Woodward finished in 43rd with a time of 15:43.90.
 
In the women's 60 meter dash, Lilli Joseph finished in 84th with a new personal best time of 8.34 seconds.
 
In the men's mile, Jackson Stinnett finished in 16th with a new personal best time of 4:19.60. Jon Biersdorfer finished close behind in 18th with a new personal best time of 4:20.92. Clint Stapleton finished in 47th with a time of 4:36.52.
 
In the women's mile, Aubree Wille finished in 43rd with a time of 5:34.52. Faith Tinney finished in 53rd with a time of 5:48.16. Isabel Bush finished in 59th with a time of 5:55.63.
 
In the women's 300 meter, Jocelyn Turney finished in 30th with a time of 44.65 seconds. Ann-Marie Dorsey finished in 38th with a time of 45.55 seconds.
 
In the men's 800 meter, Ian Conder finished in eighth with a time of 1:54.39. Jon Biersdorfer finished in 16th with a new indoor personal best time of 1:55.65. Solomon Higgins finished in 33rd with a time of 1:57.56.
 
In the women's 800 meter, Elisabeth Ostermaier finished in 54th place with a new indoor personal best time of 2:48.12.
 
In the men's 4x400 meter relay, the team of Blake Feron, Kyle Ginn, Colton Storm and Aaron Shiever combined to finish in 36th with a time of 3:41.87.
 
In the men's 3,000 meter, Ian Busking finished in 38th with a new personal best time of 9:04.74.
 
In the women's 3,000 meter, Jillian Skalicky finished in 11th with a time of 10:19.61. Elena Fries finished in 20th with a time of 10:32.73. Sara Crosley finished in 26th with a new personal best time of 10:50.26. Ryann Barber finished in 41st with a time of 11:55.83.
 
The Hillcats will be back in action in 2024 when they return to Pittsburg on Friday, Jan. 19 to compete in the Rumble in the Jungle Invitational.
