LINCOLN, Neb. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field competed at the Husker Tune-Up on Friday.
In the women's 3,000m,
Tori Wood finished third with a new school record time of 10:10.74. This time bests the previous record of 10:16.62 set by
Madison Bradshaw earlier this season.
In the women's mile,
Katie Byrd finished seventh with a time of 5:04.66.
Madison Bradshaw finished eighth with a new personal best time of 5:05.05. Briana DeAngelis finished 12th with a time of 5:11.29.
In the men's 800m,
Ian Conder finished ninth with a time of 1:56.56.
Jon Biersdorfer finished 12th with a time of 1:57.52.
In the men's mile,
Blake Feron finished 14th with a time of 4:23.67.
The Hillcats will now prepare for the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships beginning on Friday, Feb. 24 in Pittsburg, Kan.
