SHAWNEE, Okla. – Rogers State men's and women's cross country wrapped up the first day at the OBU Invitational on Friday.

The highlight of the day came in the women's 5,000 meter, as the Hillcats took three of the top five spots with
Brianna DeAngelis leading the way in third with a new school record time of 17:33.68. This time obliterates the previous record of 17:46.33 set by
Madison Bradshaw last season.
Katie Byrd came in fourth, shattering her personal best time by 43 seconds with a 17:33.84 finish.
Riley Coleman finished fifth and set a new personal best as well with a time of 17:55.48.

In the women's 1,500 meter, RSU took four of the top five spots as
Madison Bradshaw won the event with a new personal best time of 4:40.02.
Tori Wood finished second with a new personal best time of 4:40.05.
Ashley Riggenbach finished third with a new personal best time of 4:49.55.
Gloria Butts finished fifth with a new personal best time of 4:51.66.

In the men's 1,500 meter,
Blake Feron finished second a time of 4:01.74.
Kory Wilson finished fifth with a time of 4:05.08.
Julius Oheim finished eighth with a time of 4:05.77.
Hunter Hart finished 10th with a time of 4:07.40.
Caden Goss finished 18th with a time of 4:20.94.

In the men's 800 meter,
Ian Conder finished third with a time of 1:55.39.
Jon Biersdorfer finished right behind him in fourth with a time of 1:55.94.
Carlos Vallejo finished 13th with a time of 2:00.86.

In the men's 5,000 meter,
Nathan Hernandez finished ninth with a time of 16:07.13.

RSU will close out the meet with the second day of competition tomorrow. The first event is set to start at 1:40 p.m.
