NORMAN & YUKON, Okla. – Rogers State men's and women's track and field competed at the Sooner Invitational and SCU/Paul Parent Invitational on Saturday.
The highlight of the weekend came as both the women's and men's 800 meter school records were broken.
In the women's 800 meter,
Katie Byrd finished in fifth with a new school record time of 2:14.66, passing the previous record of 2:15.60 set by Hailey Gillispie in 2018.
Madison Bradshaw finished in 21st with a new personal best time of 2:28.15.
Riley Coleman finished in 22nd with a time of 2:29.40.
In the men's 800 meter,
Ian Conder finished sixth with a new school record time of 1:52.95, passing his own top mark of 1:54.35 that he set earlier this season.
Jon Biersdorfer finished in 11th with a new personal best time of 1:54.83.
Blake Feron finished in 17th with a new outdoor personal best time of 1:56.66.
Carlos Vallejo finished in 18th with a new season best time of 1:57.27.
In the men's 5,000 meter on Friday,
Julius Oheim finished fourth with a new season best time of 15:35.94.
Hunter Hart finished fifth with a time of 15:41.91.
Caden Goss finished seventh with a time of 16:03.16. Nathaneal Gibson finished eighth with a time of 16:15.67.
In the women's 1,500 meter on Saturday,
Madison Bradshaw finished in 12th with a time of 4:44.66.
Riley Coleman finished in 17th with a new personal best time of 4:56.11.
In the men's 1,500 meter,
Kory Wilson finished in 11th with a time of 4:05.96.
At the SCU/Paul Parent Invitational in the women's 4x800 meter relay, the team of
Ashley Riggenbach,
Jillian Skalicky,
Jocelyn Turney and
Tori Wood combined for a time of 9:55.90.
In the men's 4x800 meter relay, the team of

Ty Rupert,

In the women's 1,500 meter,
Sara Crosley finished fourth with a time of 5:22.55.
Ronnie Jones finished with a time of 5:23.22.
Elizabeth Ostermaier finished 14th with a time of 6:02.03.
In the men's 1,500 meter,
Eric Ragan finished seventh with a time of 4:22.66.
Colton Storm finished in eighth with a new personal best time of 4:24.90.
Ian Busking finished ninth with a time of 4:24.95.
Blaine Phillippi finished in 12th with a time of 4:33.96.
Joseph White finished in 13th with a time of 4:35.00.
Blake Phillippi finished in 16th with a time of 4:43.97.
In the women's 400 meter,
Hannah Anello won the event with a time of 1:01.97.
Rita Ojene finished third with a time of 1:04.49.
Jayden Lazzari finished seventh with a time of 1:05.96.
In the men's 400 meter,
Phillip Owens finished second with a time of 51.78.
Mason Prince finished third with a new personal best time of 52.21.
Mikehl Marion finished ninth with a time of 53.61.
Collin McHugh finished 14th with a time of 54.93.

In the women's 100 meter,
