LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rogers State softball checked in at No. 14 in the final NFCA Coaches Poll of the regular season, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Hillcats are now the third-highest ranked MIAA school behind No. 4 Central Oklahoma and No. 13 Missouri Southern. Three other Central Region teams were featured in the poll, including No. 18 Harding, No. 21 Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Arkansas, who received votes.

Last week, RSU went 2-2 at the MIAA Tournament with wins against Missouri Western and Missouri Southern. The Hillcats fell to Central Oklahoma in the semifinal on Saturday and then came up short against Missouri Southern in an elimination game later that day.

RSU will take the next step in their postseason journey on Thursday, May 11 as they take on Southern Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Central Regional in Joplin, Mo. on the campus of Missouri Southern. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
