KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its weekly softball awards on Monday afternoon, naming true freshman Kinsley Hill the MIAA Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week. Hill is the first two-time MIAA Pitcher of the Week recipient since 2024.

The Dale, Oklahoma, native recorded her fourth consecutive complete-game shutout for the Hillcats, achieving the feat against No. 16 Central Oklahoma and Newman last weekend at the RCB Bank Sports Complex. Hill allowed just four hits and four walks while striking out six over 12 innings. The reigning MIAA Pitcher of the Week improved her record to 9-1.

Hillcat softball (24-10, 8-4 MIAA) will take its seven-game winning streak on the road this week, facing No. 7 Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kansas, on Friday and Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, on Saturday.
