CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State Athletics is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2024, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Chris Ratcliff announced on Friday.
 
Hall of Fame Class of 2024 nominations will be accepted through Saturday, Sept. 30. To submit a nomination, please visit www.RSUHillcats.com/HallofFame.
 
The Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the ballroom of the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center on the campus of Rogers State. This year's Hall of Fame class will then be introduced during halftime of the men's basketball game at the Claremore Expo Center.
 
The Class of 2024 will be the second group of distinguished members of the RSU family to enter the Hall of Fame, joining the inaugural Class of 2023 which featured Hillcat legends Wren Baker, Ron Bradley, Steve Crawford and Robin Sutherland.
 
The Hall of Fame's mission is to identify and recognize members of the RSU community for outstanding achievement in sport or service to RSU Athletics. The Hall of Fame committee will look to induct a minimum of two honorees each year, with no more than four members in each class.
 
To be considered for induction, student-athletes must have been removed from Rogers State University for a minimum of five years from the induction year. Coaches, administrators and other worthy candidates must have demonstrated exemplary success in supporting Rogers State Athletics and must have been removed from the university at a minimum of five years from the induction year as well.
 
The athletics department at RSU was established in 2005 and was a member of the NAIA and the Sooner Athletic Conference until Spring of 2013, when it moved into the NCAA Division II membership process and joined the Heartland Conference. RSU implemented 10 new athletic programs during the five-year span from 2005-2010. RSU became full members of NCAA Division II in July of 2016 and joined the MIAA in 2019.
