They put up a strong fight against No. 8 Pittsburg State, leading at halftime, but ultimately lost to the Gorillas, 73-51, in Pittsburg, Kan.

MEN'S BASKETBALL PREVIEW
Hillcat men's basketball (4-4, 0-2 MIAA) aims to end a losing skid after dropping two games last week. Rogers State fell to Missouri Southern, 84-77, despite a late rally on Thursday, and lost to Pittsburg State, 86-64, on Saturday.
The in-state rivalry between UCO and RSU has been closely contested, with the Hillcats leading the series 8-7. Last season, Rogers State split games against Central Oklahoma, losing 83-65 in Edmond before claiming a 102-92 victory at the Claremore Expo Center.
