NEW ORLEANS – Rogers State women's cross country continued to receive votes in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Rankings, the organization announced on Wednesday.
 
After moving up to No. 7 in the USTFCCCA Central Region Rankings earlier this week, the Hillcats sit one spot outside the Top 30 after receiving 16 votes. They are also one of five MIAA schools ranking behind No. 19 Pittsburg State and No. 24 Missouri Southern and ahead of Nebraska Kearney with two votes and Northwest Missouri with one vote.
 
RSU is back in action on Friday, Sept. 15 as they travel up the road to Joplin, Mo. for the annual Southern Stampede, hosted by Missouri Southern. The women's 5k race is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. with the men's 8k race starting at 5:15 p.m.
