RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Rogers State men's soccer's Hugo Martin has been named the GAC/MIAA Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Martin, a native of Malaga, Spain, led the No. 13 Hillcats (3-1-2) to a 1-1 week on the road in two Top 15 matchups with a win over No. 14 UC Colorado Springs. In the 2-1 win over the Cougars on Saturday, the sophomore scored the game winning goal, his first of the season, in the 74th minute unassisted.
 
The Hillcats return home on Thursday, Sept. 21 as they begin GAC/MIAA play and welcome defending conference champion Southern Nazarene into the friendly confines of Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
