BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf sits in a tie for second place after the first day of competition at The Tulsa Cup on Monday.
With play suspended for darkness in the second round at the par 72, 6,893 yard Club at Indian Springs, the Hillcats are currently in a three-way tie for second place with a card of 584 (+32).
The trio of
Elliot-Han Monteremal,
Jack Roche and
Tyler Collier are all in a group of seven tied at 17th sitting at seven-over-par. The three currently hold cards of 142, 144 and 148 with two, two and one hole left to play, respectively.
Callum Brown sits in a three-way tie for 35th with a card of 150 (+11) with one more hole to play.
Kaden Armstrong rounds out the group in a four-way tie with a 163 (+23) and one more hole to play.
Playing as an individual,
Maddox Bullen is tied for 24th with a card of 144 (+8) with two more holes to play.
Pedro Benjumea is finished in a group of six tied at 38th with a 156 (+12).
Miguel Mora is in 90th with a 178 (+38) with one more hole left to play.
The Hillcats will look to claim the top spot in the final round tomorrow. They will finish the second round beginning at 8 a.m. with the third and final round to follow.
