JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Rogers State men's golf concluded the MIAA Championship on Wednesday at the par-72 Jefferson City Country Club, finishing tied for 10th with a three-round total of 912 (+48).
The Hillcats shot their best round of the tournament in the final round, recording a score of 300 (+12). They ended up tied with Missouri Southern, just one stroke behind Pittsburg State for ninth place. Central Oklahoma secured the team title for the second consecutive season with a score of 10-under-par 853. Central Missouri (+10), Washburn (+14), Newman (+19) and Missouri Western (+23) rounded out the top five.
Sophomore
Callum Brown and freshman
Kobsak Phisitbuntoon tied for 29th place, each finishing with a three-round total of 227 (+11). Both Hillcats led the team with a score of 74 (+2) in the final round.
Senior
Tyler Collier shot a 76 (+4) in the third round, tying for 39th with a total score of 230 (+14). Just one stroke behind, senior
Aiden Deng tied for 44th with a score of 231 (+15), while junior
Dylan Ros finished tied for 47th with a final tally of 234 (+18).
