EDMOND, Okla. – Rogers State women's golf wrapped up competition at the UCO Regional Preview on Tuesday.
 
After 36 holes at the Par 70, 5,905-yard Kickingbird Golf Course, the Hillcats finished in a tie for fifth place with a card of 584 (+24).
 
"It was a solid performance by the team this week," said Head Coach Whitney Hocutt. "Our finish in our second round was the most solid of the Fall. We played our final three holes -5 by our counting scores. There are a few areas of our game to address and look at to get ready for our final event of the Fall, the Tulsa Cup. We look forward to traveling back to Kickingbird this Spring for the NCAA Central Regional. Thank you to the golf course staff, UCO and the City of Edmond."
 
Lydia Sitorus and Lauren Anderson led RSU in a group of six tied at 15th after both shot 144 (+4) for the tournament. Brianna Maddux finished one stroke behind in a tie for 21st with a card of 145 (+5). Milena Andres finished in a group of seven tied at 59th with a 152 (+12). Elle Standlee Daniels rounded out the squad in a tie for 82nd with a 156 (+16).
 
The Hillcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 28 as they close out the Fall season hosting the annual Tulsa Cup at The Club At Forest Ridge in Tulsa, Okla.
