AUSTIN, Texas – Rogers State men's soccer's Trindon Turner has been named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® selection, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
For the second year in a row, Turner earned the prestigious honor with a spot on the 13-member third team. Majoring in Business Administration, the Edmond, Okla. product holds a sterling 4.00 GPA and is one of only three student-athletes from the GAC/MIAA to earn this honor. He was also one of only 11 student-athletes among the 35 total honorees to earn a 4.00 GPA.
 
Academic All-American® is a title reserved for college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. The all-time list of 40,000+ Academic All-Americans® includes major sports stars and some of the world's most accomplished individuals in medicine, business, science and the arts.
