SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Rogers State women's golf closed out the first day of competition at the ATU Spring Preview on Monday.
 
After 36 holes at the par 72, 5,885 yard Rivercut Golf Course, the Hillcats sit in a tie for eighth place with a card of 624 (+48).
 
Marelda Ayal leads RSU in a five-way tie for 15th after shooting 152 (+8). Lydia Sitorus sits in a group of six tied at 24th with a card of 154 (+10). Lauren Anderson sits in a group of six tied at 39th with a 157 (+13). Jessica Osden sits in a three-way tie for 62nd with a 161 (+17). Brianna Maddux rounds out the group in 87th with a 178 (+34).
 
Playing as an individual, Kristin Gudmundsdottir sits in a group of six tied at 56th with a 160 (+16).
 
The Hillcats will look to move up the leaderboard in the final round tomorrow. RSU will begin the round with their first tee time set for 9:10 a.m.
