WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Rogers State women's golf closed out the 2023-24 season with the final round of the NCAA Division II National Championships on Thursday.
After three rounds at the par 72, 5,992 yard Orange County National Golf Center, the Hillcats finished in 15th with a total card of 906 (+42).
Marelda Ayal led the Hillcats as she finished in a group of six tied at 40th with a total card of 222 (+6). The senior finished the day with an even-par 72. Her three-round score is the lowest individual score in school history at the National Championships, passing Jessica Green's 226 (+10) at the 2022 National Championships.
Lydia Sitorus finished in a four-way tie for 59th with a total card of 225 (+9).
Brianna Maddux finished in a five-way tie for 68th with a 227 (+11).
Jessica Osden finished in a three-way tie for 80th with a 232 (+16). After subbing in for
Kristin Gudmundsdottir,
Lauren Anderson rounded out the group shooting an 80 (+8).
