NEW ORLEANS – Both Rogers State men's and women's track and field received U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team honors, the organization announced on Monday.
On the women's side,
Gloria Butts and
Brianna DeAngelis-Stinnett were named All-Academic Athletes. To receive this award, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.25 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the semester of competition. Additionally, they must also have achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark (individual or relay event) for either the indoor season or outdoor season.
The Hillcat men's and women's teams were both named an All-Academic Team. This award is given to teams that have a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, certifiable by the institution's registrar.
