Rylan Ashley lead the No. 21 Rogers State women's golf team, which is tied for third place heading into the final round of the Midwest Classic.
Host Central Missouri leads the team competition after the first two rounds, finishing with a two-round score of 576 (+16). Arkansas Tech is in second place with a score of 584 (+24), while Rogers State and Central Oklahoma are tied for third at 594 (+34).
Fourdan recorded her best round yet as a Hillcat, starting the tournament with a score of 67 (-3) that included seven birdies. She struggled to find a rhythm in the second round with a score of 78 (+8). Despite that, the native of Carnac, France, is tied for fifth at 145 (+5) heading into the final round.
Ashley, competing as an individual, also had a strong performance, finishing six strokes over par and tied for 10th. She started the day with a score of 70 (E) before concluding the afternoon with a 76 (+6).
Junior
Lauren Anderson posted a solid score; finishing tied for 12th (+7). Freshman
Lara Foigel is tied for 25th (+10), sophomore
Milena Andres is tied for 38th (+14) and senior
Brianna Maddux is tied for 45th (+16).
The Hillcats will return to action tomorrow morning for the final round of the Midwest Classic at Mules National GCS at 9 a.m.
