MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – The Rogers State men's golf team is tied for 17th after posting a score of 625 (+53) on Monday at the MSSU Fall Invitational. Competition was halted due to darkness, and the second round will conclude Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m. from Shangri La Resort.
The Central Oklahoma Bronchos dominated the opening day, finishing with a score of 571 (-5), which is 29 strokes better than both Missouri Western and Winona State, who are tied at +24. Washburn (+26) and Central Missouri (+27) round out the top five.
Senior
Maddox Bullen leads the Hillcats, sitting in 50th place with a score of 156 (+12) after shooting 78 in both rounds. With one hole remaining in the second round, sophomore
Callum Brown is just one stroke behind Bullen at +13, tied for 56th. Notably, Brown made an eagle on hole 16 in round two.
Junior
Dylan Ros is tied for 66th with a score of 158 (+14), followed by
Kobsak Phisitbuntoon in 73rd at +15 and senior
Aiden Deng in 93rd at +20.
Action from Monkey Island will continue tomorrow at 8:15 a.m. with the conclusion of the second round, followed by the third and final round.
