KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) released its preseason polls on Monday morning at the 2025 MIAA Basketball Media Day, and Rogers State women's basketball was picked 13th in the coaches' and media poll.
In the MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Hillcats earned 28 points, placing them 13th, ahead of Newman. Fort Hays State topped the poll with 152 points and two first-place votes, while Washburn received the most first-place votes with six.
In the MIAA Basketball Preseason Media Poll, Rogers State was also picked 13th with 49 points. Defending champions Pittsburg State claimed the top spot in this poll, garnering 326 points and 13 first-place votes, followed by Fort Hays State with 299 points and five first-place votes.
