No. 13 Men’s Soccer Remains Third in Super Region 3 Rankings

RSU ties highest-ever regional ranking

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced its third regional rankings on Wednesday, and No. 13 Hillcat men's soccer remained third – tying its highest-ever regional ranking set last week.

The Hillcats have appeared in the Super Region 3 rankings all three times this season. RSU has a 1-1 record in its regional matches, securing a 3-2 victory against Southern Nazarene before losing to Saginaw Valley in penalty kicks last season in Michigan.

Fort Hays State and Lincoln remained the top two teams in the rankings. Rogers State (#3) and Rockhurst (#4) rounded out the top four seeds, which will host the opening round of the tournament. Also included were Cedarville (#5), McKendree (#6), Maryville (#7), Tiffin (#8), UIndy (#9), Northeastern State (#10), Saginaw Valley (#11) and Missouri S&T (#12).

The No. 3 and No. 4 seeds will host the first games of the tournament, while the top two teams will host two games on their campuses from Nov. 21-23. For more information, visit DII Men's College Soccer - Home | NCAA.com.
